Blaze
Who went and dazed my consuela?
Glazed
Praised
Who went and played my consuela?
I am a patient boy
I wait
And when I break it’s always
Two beats too late
You’re never off
You’re oh so easily on air
Up up the stairs
Down down the tears
Who went and swayed my consuela?
Hold my hope oh my soul oh my phone
Lose the rules and use the tools
Everyone is watching you
Hold my own oh my soul now all full
Lose the rules and use your tools
Cause everyone is watching you
But you’re not in a movie
I know how much you long to be.
I’m positive I lost you
No i found you
Positive I see you and now i need you
Positive.
Hold my own oh my soul all my fault
Lose your rules, use your tools
Everyone is watching you
Hold my hope go old soul head you home
Lose your rules, use the tools.
Positive I lost you
No i found you
Positive I see you and now i need you
Positive.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
